The Music Talent
Daniel Davies has been teaching guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals, songwriting
and music production for 25 years. As a father of 5 and having worked
with the Waterloo and York Regional School boards for years, Daniel
puts the emphasis on enjoying learning music. He encourages students-of
all ages- to write and record their own songs.
He is also a recording artist, performer, music producer and studio
musician. He has recorded and performed with a vast array of artists
from HELIX'S BRIAN VOLLMER to pop singer AMY SKY and country singers
BEVERLY MAHOOD and JAMIE WARREN as well as opening for COLIN JAMES the
COWBOY JUNKIES. He has also performed live at the MOLSON AMPHITHEATRE
for ROD STEWART'S V.I.P. after party.
Daniel has recently produced 2 NEW COUNTRY CDs of his own songs. "OUT
OF THE BLUE" and "RIDIN WITH THE KING"- a unique blend
of NEW COUNTRY, POP and ROCK. He has also been on various television
shows such as the CCMA's (Canadian Country Music Awards) with Shania
Twain, Prairie Oyster and Jason McCoy to name a few.
Daniel is also very well known as a voice actor in Toronto providing
voice overs for hundreds of commercials and cartoons. Some clients include:
East Side Mario's, The Dallas Morning News, Yak Long Distance, MTV,
YTV, CMT, The Zimmer Twins, Nelvana, Nickelodeon, Toyota, Barq's, Japan
Camera, MIll St. Brewery, Western Union, LCBO and many more.
